How it works

Inside NinjaTrader, not on your phone

This is a desktop add-on. It runs inside NinjaTrader 8 and acts through NinjaTrader's own broker connection — so it does not use any of your broker's API quota.

It watches the position.While the account is connected in NinjaTrader, the add-on tracks the open position against the line you set.

It closes and locks out.When the position reaches the line, the add-on closes it through NinjaTrader's connection and locks out trading on the accounts you chose, until the time you set.

Here is when each one does not work. The add-on acts only while NinjaTrader is running and connected: if NinjaTrader freezes, the add-on is turned off, or the machine sleeps, it cannot act. It is a tool that runs on your computer, not a guarantee, and it is not a substitute for protective orders resting at your broker.

The monthly plan starts with a 3-day free trial (one per NinjaTrader account): your card is taken at checkout and first charged $9.99 when the trial ends. The license runs while the subscription is paid. The lifetime plan is one payment of $299.99, with no trial. Either way you get a NinjaTrader license on the NinjaTrader account whose email you give at checkout, and a link to download both add-ons. Emergency Flatten ALL is Tradovate-only and provided as-is.

What happens next

Licensing ties to your NinjaTrader account email — there is no key to paste. You'll need NinjaTrader Desktop 8.1.8.2 or later.

Enter your NinjaTrader account email at checkout.You keep logging in to NinjaTrader with your username — the license goes on that account, and NinjaTrader identifies the account by its email. Find it under Your Profile at trader.tradovate.com or in your ninjatrader.com account. Using a prop firm's NinjaTrader login? It's usually the email you registered with the firm. It can differ from the email you pay with.

Watch for one email from us.It arrives once your license is active on your NinjaTrader account and carries the download link and install steps (usually within a few minutes of payment). Check spam if you don't see it.

Download the add-on file.Use the link in that email. It's a single file that contains both Lockout Sync and Emergency Flatten ALL.

Import it into NinjaTrader.In the Control Center: Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On, then pick the file you downloaded. Then fully restart NinjaTrader (close it and reopen).

Log in to NinjaTrader as usual.Use your normal username — the login whose account email you gave at checkout. Both add-ons then appear under Control Center → Tools — Lockout Sync and Emergency Flatten ALL.

That's the only install.New versions come to you inside NinjaTrader: Lockout Sync shows what's new, one click installs it, and you restart NinjaTrader to finish.
